About
I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Writing, Rhetoric, and Cultures at Michigan State University, where I teach in the Experience Architecture program, support the development and evaluation of digital pedagogy and educational technology with the Evidence Driven Learning Innovation Research Center, and contribute to scholarship in the award-winning WIDE Research lab.
My research interests lie at the intersection of digital accessibility, learning experience design, and technical communication. My recent work focuses on the impacts of hybrid/flexible learning for students with disabilities in technical communication classrooms.
I am a certified professional in accessibility core competencies (CPACC) with the International Association of Accessibility Professionals. I serve as the secretary of the Teach Access Alumni Network Steering Committee. I also works as a freelance accessibility consultant, technical editor, and instructional designer.
